Alien Infiltrator

Ikti was one of the best the Serrate Hive had to offer. Then one day, she died and never came back.

What could have caused this? What kind of lasting damage could this have caused? Is any of this actually explored in the game? Who knows?! Why am I asking so many questions???

So What's The Game Actually

Experimental combo between a top down shooty game and a real-time strategy (with pause available to do orders on the in-game map)

(whether it actually succeeded in being either is up to you to decide)

Expected runtime of maybe 10 minutes or 20?

Progress is saved after missions are complete, but not during missions.

Uh There's Not Much Here

jam time makes fools of us all

A Note for MacOS Users

I don't have an Apple Developer license so I would advise looking up this information on how to run the game: https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/export/running_on_macos.html#ap...

(Also, I don't have a Mac, so if it's broken, there's not much I can really do to help, sorry!)

I do not usually comment, but I just have to say: Fantastic concept with great ideas baked in, and a ton of enjoyment packed into this considering the short playtime—like seriously, I would love to see this expanded upon!

I would love to contribute to this project, whether through funding or creative means, if you decide to keep developing this. I know it's hard work, but your mind is absolutely brilliant; I can see your vision through every little detail of the game (as nascent as it may seem at this stage of development). It is incredibly cohesive, lucid and well-realized for a jam, even if it may not feel that way to you (though I don't know you well enough to assume this outright, so forgive me if I'm off base!). Just wanted to let you know that I believe I see you in this, as well as what you're aiming for out of it.

tl;dr You have my support if it is ever needed. Now, I'll stop myself here before I break my fingers typing this much!

Thank you for sharing your work, and enjoy a break! Seqqy

this was fun, I think if developed  more with a team this would be really cool.

Wait I know the second fox, that was a fun card game once I wrapped my head around it.

Was fun! Short, sweet, simple enough, didn't drag at any point. It's intentionally made easy so I don't want to go WAAAAAA NOT HARD ENOUGH or anything because that's. Dumb?

Was fun, thank you for making it.

Very fun lil thing! I liked your previous game and this one does as well! If there's a place for DMs I could think of some gameplay things that could be polished up a bit, but overall I liked it! :>
